Parambriym began from Anitha Sivakumar's deep passion for cooking. When she lived in a joint family, she prepared meals for 15 people every day. Her food was so loved that after her daughters moved away, friends and family constantly requested her to cook.
Encouraged by their appreciation, she started a small home-delivery kitchen — personally handling everything from cooking and marketing to delivering meals. The response was overwhelming. Newspaper ads brought in more customers, and her lunch service between 12 and 2 PM would sell out within an hour.
As people began asking for dinner, she extended operations to 7–10 PM. Their first outlet in Nungambakkam became an instant success. Now, with its grand outpost in Anna Nagar, Parambriym consistently thrives as one of Chennai's beloved culinary destinations.
